DISPLAY TERMINAL NAVIGATION

Every unit ordered with a microcontroller control option is provided with a pGD terminal interface, as shown below. This display terminal may be shipped loose for remote mounting or pre-mounted on the unit. The display terminal allows the user to setup the unit, to change settings, and to view the current operating status. Each display terminal is equipped with an alarm buzzer for audible alarming.

Note that the display must be installed for every unit or remain in the electrical box for easy access; failure to install the display may result in an inability to operate the unit and tech support will not be able to assist in unit troubleshooting.

  1. The Alarm button, located at the top left of the display, is used to access current alarms. If the system is currently in alar, the display buzzer will be active and the alarm bell on the button will be backlit with a red LED.

Pressing the alarm button will silence the buzzer and bring up a listing of the current active alarms. The up and down arrow buttons can be used to scroll through the active alarms. After determining the cause of the current alarms and resolving any issues with the system, scroll down to the screen that states: “End of Alarms – Press Enter to clear.” Press enter to clear the current alarm state. The system or any components requiring manual reset can be re-enabled through the system enables.

  2. The program (PRG) button, located at the center left of the display, is used to access the menu screens. From the main status screen, pressing the PRG button once will access the main menu level.

  3. The escape (ESC) button is located at the bottom left of the display. ESC can be used to move back one menu level while accessing any menu or to abandon changes when a system point is selected.

  1. The UP arrow button, located at the top right of the display, is used for the following functions: to increase or change a system point, to move the menu selection bar up, or to scroll through screens when within a menu.

  2. The ENTER button, located on the center right of the display, is used for the following functions:

    • If the cursor is flashing in the top left hand corner of the screen, the enter button will move the cursor to the first selectable field. Pressing the enter button again will confirm any changes made to that point and move the cursor to the next selectable field.
    • On the menu screens, pressing the enter button will select the menu option highlighted by the black bar.

  3. The DOWN arrow button, located on the bottom right of the display, is used for the following functions: to decrease or change a system point, to move the menu selection bar down, or to scroll through screens when within a menu.
