Corrective Action: Verify proper airflow. Refer to the low airflow section and resolve low airflow issues.
Possible Cause: Low mixed/return air temperature.
Corrective Action: Verify that mixed/return air temperature is acceptable. Standard scroll compressors should not be operated with inlet condition lower than 65 deg F.
Possible Cause: System settings are too low.
Corrective Action: Overly aggressive system settings (hot gas bypass valve, suction pressure set point, compressor staging) may result in freezing the coil. Adjust settings per unit submittal.
